Meet the Management
CEO and Owner
Brad Heath is the CEO and founder of VirTex, and provides the vision and direction for VirTex’s three locations; Texas, Wisconsin and Mexico. Mr. Heath founded VirTex in 1999, after more than fifteen years of working in process engineering, manufacturing operations and supply chain. Brad’s background means that VirTex has organizational, process, management and operational excellence in its DNA, as well as the expertise required to deliver quality and lean manufacturing.
Mr. Heath has been a member of Frost and Sullivan’s Manufacturing Leadership Council since 2007, and was selected as the first representative for Small to Mid-Size Businesses on the Manufacturing Leadership Board of Governors in 2012. Over the years VirTex has won several awards for Leadership, Operational Excellence, Big Data Mastery and Supply Chain, and was named ‘Progressive Manufacturer of the Year’ in 2011.
Prior to founding VirTex, Mr. Heath served as Vice President of engineering for Technology Manufacturing & Design Inc., the Process Engineering Manager for Radian Corp, and a Process Engineer with Texas Instruments. He sits on the board of several smaller companies and is member of the board directors of American Youthworks, a drop-out recovery charter school and job skills training program.
Mr. Heath holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of South Florida. Mr. Heath is a natural entrepreneur and leader. He provides valuable insights into the future of the industry from the perspective of the many thousands of companies that make up much of the global manufacturing sector.
As the CEO and owner of VirTex, Mr. Heath is part of an organization that brings together the best resources for the technology markets. Medical, Aerospace, Defense and Industrial, as well as new technology companies, that all share unique and challenging characteristics; high complexity and high configurability in a low to medium volume production environment.
